Janos Horvath, the internationally known conductor and clinician, will present a workshop to improve choral conducting and develop greater musicianship in students. Don’t miss this exciting, hands-on workshop!

Janos Horvath is an internationally known conductor and clinician, having performed and taught in Taiwan, Europe, Australia, USA and Canada. He was born and raised in Hungary and is a graduate of the Liszt Academy in Budapest. He is former director of KMTI at the University of Hartford as well as the Kodaly Summer Diploma Programme at the University of Calgary. He is a alumnni of the the Kecskemet Kodaly school, Prof. Emeritus at U of C, received the Teaching Excellence award from there, also the Pro Coro Achivement Award from the Alberta Choral Federation. Released three CDs under the U of C label with the University of Calgary Chamber Singers. In 2011 moved to California and became Visiting Associate Prof. of the Kodaly graduate studies.
